Job Requirements

  • Must be available to work weekends and holidays
  • high attention to detail
  • ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds
  • physical ability to perform duties including walking, sitting, stooping, kneeling, crouching
  • ability to use hands and arms effectively
  • specific vision abilities including close vision, color vision and ability to adjust focus

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • one year of experience in a similar housekeeping role preferred
  • ability to interact professionally with guests and team members
  • strong attention to detail
  • physical ability to perform cleaning tasks
  • good communication skills
  • willingness to work weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • Anticipate guest expectations
  • clean guest rooms as assigned including making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting and vacuuming
  • change and replenish bed linens, towels and guest amenities as needed
  • perform deep cleaning tasks as needed
  • stock, maintain and transport housekeeping supply cart daily
  • dispose of trash and recyclables
  • respond to special guest requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
  • demonstrate teamwork responsiveness when asked to do any task consistent with Hyatt Place standards
  • maintain organization and great attention to detail
