Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- able to stand and walk on feet for 95% of the shift
- able to reach, bend, twist, stoop, squat, and stretch to fulfill tasks
- able to climb stairs with vacuum cleaner
- regularly lift 25 pounds and occasionally lift 50 pounds
- able to pass a background check

- Prior housekeeping experience preferred
- possess good verbal, written, and listening skills
- ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos

Job Duties
- Obtains a list of vacant rooms that need to be cleaned
- prepare a housekeeping cart with required supplies including sheets, towels, robes, rugs, bathroom amenities, writing supplies, guest information, cleaning supplies, vacuum, etc
- clean all rooms by emptying trash, making beds, dusting furniture, washing windows, vacuuming, and cleaning bathrooms, kitchens, and outdoor patios
- remove all room service dishes
- report items that are broken or need repair
- provide courteous guest service
- replenish bathroom amenities, writing supplies, and guest information
- incorporate safe work practices in job performance
- interact and communicate with guests and fellow employees in a courteous and professional manner
- maintain flexibility to take on new tasks as directed by Department Manager
- attend staff meetings
