Job Requirements

  • Must be available to work weekends and holidays
  • Able to lift, move up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • Ability to walk, sit, stoop, kneel, or crouch frequently
  • Must have close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus
  • Finger dexterity to operate cleaning and IT equipment
  • No prior experience necessary but preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous housekeeping experience a plus but not required
  • Ability to interact professionally with associates and guests
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work weekends and holidays
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Willingness to perform physically demanding tasks

Job Duties

  • Anticipate guest expectations
  • Clean guest rooms as assigned, including, but not limited to, making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting and vacuuming
  • Change and replenish bed linens, towels and guest amenities, as needed
  • Perform deep cleaning tasks as needed
  • Stock, maintain and transport housekeeping supply cart daily
  • Dispose of trash and recyclables
  • Respond to special guest requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
  • Demonstrate teamwork responsiveness when asked to do any task consistent with Hyatt Place standards
  • Organize work and maintain great attention to detail
