Job Requirements

  • previous experience in housekeeping or cleaning services preferred
  • strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • excellent time management skills and reliability
  • able to understand and communicate housekeeping and maintenance needs for the area
  • able to communicate any necessary information to supervisor and staff relating to guest issues
  • constant walking, standing and repetitive use of hands, arms, and legs
  • frequent bending, squatting, climbing stairs and step ladders, kneeling, grasping, pushing, pulling, and reaching above and below shoulder level
  • occasional bending and twisting of neck, crawling, power grasping
  • ability to lift up to 25 pounds, bend, stoop and reach
  • lift and carry equipment and supplies such as vacuum, caddy holder, full laundry bags, towels and linens
  • constantly walk and stand for extended periods up to 4 hours
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • walking over uneven ground, across 5 acres and up and down stairs with or without reasonable accommodation
  • exposure to extremes in temperature, humidity, and wetness as well as dust, chemicals, and fumes
  • ability to see, read printed material, and room numbers with or without vision aid
  • ability to hear and understand speech at normal levels
  • flexibility in schedule as it may require work at unusual hours

Job Duties

  • clean and maintain all public areas including lobbies, hallways, restrooms, elevators, and other communal spaces
  • ensure all surfaces, furniture, and fixtures are spotless and well-maintained
  • restock supplies such as towels, toiletries, and cleaning materials as needed
  • report any maintenance issues or damages to the appropriate department
  • follow safety and sanitation policies to ensure a safe environment for guests and team members
  • assist with special cleaning projects and deep cleaning tasks as assigned
  • collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and effective service delivery
