Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in cleaning or hospitality preferred
- ability to communicate effectively in English
- physical ability to perform cleaning duties including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- knowledge of safety and sanitation regulations
- ability to handle cleaning chemicals safely
- flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
- positive attitude and strong work ethic

Job Duties
- Efficiently process and prioritize tasks
- review Daily Events Report and perform tasks according to group events
- maintain cleanliness of public spaces including guest room buildings, restrooms, restaurants, patios, plazas/terraces, elevators, main lobby, ballroom pre-function areas, golf areas, thoroughfares and foyers, retail stores, pools, associate offices and break rooms, and back-of-the-house areas throughout the property following proper cleaning sequences
- clean and reposition furniture, remove trash and debris, dust, sweep and mop floors, vacuum carpets and floor mats, and maintain walking surfaces and counters dry
- assist in cleaning up leaks and floods when necessary
- place proper signage on spills and wet or flooded areas
- place out-of-order signs on malfunctioning hardware or appliances
- stock vending machines in restrooms and supply public areas with appropriate amenities and supplies
- hand fold linen napkins and make flower arrangements for public restrooms
- display work habits that promote accident prevention
- adhere to health department sanitation and safety regulations
- handle cleaning chemicals in accordance with OSHA regulations and hotel requirements
- ensure equipment is functioning properly and report maintenance needs to the supervisor or manager
- maintain confidentiality of hotel guests and pertinent hotel information
- ensure security of guest room access and hotel property including assigned keys and communication devices
- remain attentive to guests and provide courteous service
- resolve guest issues calmly and courteously while reporting to supervisor or manager
- follow lost and found protocols
