Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- None necessary since this is an entry-level position
- Ability to learn and utilize cleaning applications and products
- Skill in following directions and organizing work
- Ability to perform basic computer tasks e.g. logging in and checking e-mail
- Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions
- Ability to read or listen and comprehend simple instructions if patient facing

Job Duties
- Provide a sanitary and aesthetically pleasing environment for patients, visitors and employees
- Clean sterile areas of the hospital
- Clean and disinfect surfaces by wiping, dusting, dust mopping, wet mopping, scrubbing and vacuuming
- Gather and dispose of trash, waste materials and bio-hazardous materials
- Service and refill paper and soap dispensers
- Maintain hospital equipment and supplies in good working order
- Remove and re-hang draperies and cubicle curtains
