Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous housekeeping or healthcare experience is beneficial
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Must be physically able to move throughout the day and lift up to fifty pounds
- Must be emotionally stable and able to handle mental stress
- Must be able to work independently and collaboratively
- Must demonstrate respect toward residents, visitors, and coworkers
- Ability to use personal protective equipment correctly
- Must be able to participate in emergency evacuations
- Must not pose a direct threat to workplace health or safety
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including dusting, mopping, sweeping, and vacuuming all designated areas
- Sanitize and disinfect high-touch surfaces to prevent infection spread
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste according to policies
- Assist with restocking cleaning supplies and inventory control
- Maintain cleaning equipment and report maintenance needs
- Follow cleaning procedures for specialty areas such as resident rooms and nursing stations
- Cooperate with staff to ensure safe, clean, and welcoming resident areas
- Perform all cleaning duties as directed by the Facility Services Supervisor
- Conduct terminal cleaning of resident rooms and prepare for new admissions
- Clean vents, fan fixtures, windows, door frames, and other high surfaces
- Deliver linen to departments according to schedules
- Ensure adherence to daily and deep cleaning schedules
- Adhere to proper use of personal protective equipment
- Complete all necessary documentation daily
- Carry out other duties as assigned
