Job Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Experience in cleaning or janitorial role preferred
- Ability to work night shifts
- Knowledge of infection control and safety procedures
- Ability to use cleaning equipment and supplies
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks

Job Duties
- Clean assigned patient and public areas daily
- Collect and remove trash and sanitize all surfaces
- Stock paper items, cleaning solutions, and other supplies as necessary
- Demonstrate complete knowledge of infection control and isolation procedures
- Operate cleaning equipment properly
- Utilize Bed Management system to maintain bed throughput
- Collect and stage soiled linen for pick up
- Dispose of normal and biohazardous waste
- Clean and disinfect areas containing bodily fluids
- Document all work performed
- Access ancillary units, restrooms, offices in assigned areas
