Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in housekeeping or similar role preferred
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Physically able to perform tasks requiring bending, lifting, standing for long periods
  • Effective communication skills in English
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain cleanliness standards
  • Ability to follow safety and security protocols

Job Qualifications

  • A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment
  • Previous cleaning/EVS experience is preferred
  • Ability to learn about cleaning and sanitation products, techniques and methods, and cleaning sensitive materials
  • Must be able effectively communicate and execute basic requests in English
  • Ability to lift, pull, and push a moderate weight (about 30 lbs.)
  • Physical stamina and mobility including ability to reach, pull, squat, kneel and bend
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, typically 8am-4:30pm including weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • Greeting guests and responding to queries
  • Changing bed linen and making beds
  • Replacing used towels and other bathroom amenities, such as shampoo and soap
  • Sweeping and mopping floors
  • Vacuuming carpets
  • Dusting and polishing furniture
  • Emptying trash containers
  • Restocking beverages and food items in the mini bar
  • Cleaning public areas, such as corridors
  • Reporting any technical issues and maintenance needs
  • Updating status of guest rooms on assignment sheet
  • Returning and restocking cleaning cart at shift end
  • Check all appliances are in working order
  • Remove room service items
  • Ensure confidentiality and securing guest room
  • Follow all company safety and security procedures
  • Carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned
