Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in housekeeping within a long-term care or hospital environment preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning and sterilization methods
- Good communication skills in English
- Ability to work on an on-call basis
- Physical ability to perform housekeeping duties
- Comply with facility safety standards and policies
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED preferred
- One year experience as a housekeeper in a long-term care facility or hospital preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning, disinfection, and sterilization techniques
- Sufficient knowledge of English to communicate with clients
- Ability to work on-call schedule
- Strong attention to detail and reliability
Job Duties
- Assist with overall functions of the housekeeping department
- Maintain the facility in a clean and safe environment for clients, staff, and visitors
- Perform cleaning, disinfection, and sterilization using established techniques
- Communicate effectively with clients to provide service and support
- Work under the direction of the housekeeping manager or designee
- Follow safety protocols and comply with health regulations
- Support the Eden Alternative philosophy by contributing to a homelike environment
