Job Requirements
- High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED) strongly preferred
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lift, bend and stand for long periods
- Flexibility to work various days including alternating weekends and holidays

Job Duties
- Clean and disinfect patient’s rooms, bathrooms, furniture and other areas of the facility in a timely manner
- Deliver linen and remove trash from assigned areas
- Sweep and mop patients rooms
- Maintain adequate stock of materials, supplies and chemicals on cleaning cart and in janitor’s closet
- Perform daily floor care procedures consistently
- Keep equipment clean and polished including carts, tanks and buckets, emptying and rinsing at shift end
- Carry out other duties as assigned according to hospital policies and procedures
