Job Requirements
- High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED) strongly preferred
- Good communication and customer service skills required
- Must be able to lift, bend and stand for long periods of time
- Must be flexible with working various days including alternating weekends and holidays
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing patient needs
- Strong sense of accountability for improving the lives of patients and caregivers

Job Duties
- Clean and disinfect patient rooms, bathrooms, furniture and other facility areas in a timely manner
- Deliver linen and remove trash from assigned areas
- Sweep and mop patient rooms
- Maintain adequate stock of materials, supplies and chemicals on cleaning cart and in janitor’s closet
- Perform daily floor care procedures consistently
- Clean and polish equipment such as carts, tanks and buckets, empty and rinse at shift end
- Perform other duties as assigned according to hospital policies and procedures
