Job Requirements
- 3-5 years of housekeeping experience with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role
- must be able to regularly stand and walk the premises
- frequently required to reach with hands and arms
- climb, or balance
- stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- and talk or hear
- must be able to regularly lift, push, pull, move and/or carry up to 25lbs and frequently up to 50lbs with assistance or with appropriate equipment
Job Qualifications
- Proficient in housekeeping systems/software (e.g., Opera, HotSOS) and Microsoft Office
- able to write incident reports effectively
- must be able to pass mandatory screening including a background check and drug test
- must be at least 21 years of age
- able to effectively interact well with customers and co-workers
- able to resolve problems/conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner
- available for full-time work which may include weekends and evening scheduling
- able to communicate clearly with team members
- requires strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task effectively
- able to work independently
- able to work within a team environment
- bi-lingual a plus
Job Duties
- Oversee housekeeping operations in all shifts
- supervise and coordinate the work of housekeeping staff in public and gaming areas as well as offices
- assign daily tasks and schedules based on operational needs
- inspect areas for cleanliness, maintenance issues and compliance with standards
- ensure proper use of cleaning supplies, chemicals and equipment
- train new staff in cleaning techniques, safety procedures and company policies
- monitor staff and provide feedback, coaching or corrective action when necessary
