- ability to work night shifts
- capability to follow infection control procedures
- physical ability to perform cleaning tasks
- proficiency in using cleaning and janitorial equipment
- good communication skills
- willingness to perform duties as assigned

- familiarity with cleaning and janitorial equipment
- ability to follow detailed cleaning protocols
- strong attention to detail and ability to document work
- capability to utilize handheld technology for bed management
- prior experience in healthcare cleaning or environmental services preferred
Job Duties
- Clean assigned patient and public areas daily
- collect and remove trash
- sanitize all surfaces
- stock paper items and cleaning solutions
- demonstrate knowledge of infection control and isolation procedures
- use cleaning equipment and supplies appropriately
- collect and stage soiled linen
- dispose of normal and biohazardous waste
- clean and disinfect areas with bodily fluids
- document all work performed
- access ancillary units, restrooms, and offices in assigned areas
- utilize Bed Management system with handheld technology
