Job Duties
- Perform cleaning and sanitizing of patient rooms, bathrooms, offices, and halls according to standards
- Maintain area cleanliness to limit cross infection
- Clean walls, furniture, fixtures, equipment, and other surfaces using cleaning solutions
- Remove trash and refill dispensers following infection control practices
- Notify supervisor of low supply levels and equipment malfunctions
- Maintain floors by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and applying floor finishes and polish
- Operate various cleaning equipment effectively
- Organize work to complete all assignments with quality and efficiency
- Follow safety standards and infection control protocols
- Dispose of materials according to policy
- Perform all other duties as assigned
