Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or GED preferred
  • ability to read, comprehend and follow oral and written instructions
  • at least one year of general housekeeping experience preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • availability to work various shifts including day, evening, or night
  • physical ability to perform cleaning and floor maintenance tasks
  • commitment to patient safety and infection prevention protocols

Job Qualifications

  • at least one year of general housekeeping or floor care experience preferred
  • knowledge of cleaning and disinfection procedures in healthcare settings
  • ability to work flexible shifts including days, evenings, and nights
  • strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • good physical stamina and ability to perform job duties safely

Job Duties

  • maintain patient care areas through high-quality cleaning, disinfection, and room turnover in accordance with hospital standards
  • perform floor care including stripping, waxing, scrubbing, brushing, and maintaining hard and soft floor surfaces
  • ensure all cleaning tasks comply with established infection prevention protocols
  • support patient safety by maintaining clean and orderly environments
  • collaborate with clinical and support teams to address operational readiness
  • adhere to safety guidelines while using cleaning equipment and chemicals
  • document cleaning activities and report any maintenance issues
