Job Requirements
- Minimum of high school education
- Minimum of two years in housekeeping management position
- Experience with branded hotels
- Strong leadership skills
- Excellent time management skills
- Experience with HMS or other labor management system
- Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing

- Minimum of two years in housekeeping management position

Job Duties
- Schedules room and cleaning assignments to ensure proper coverage
- Inspects all assigned suites and public areas to ensure furnishings, equipment, linens, etc. are clean and in good repair
- Performs all housekeeping duties necessary, including making beds, vacuuming and cleaning
- Verifies and updates status of discrepant rooms throughout the shift
- Randomly selects assigned rooms to ensure cleanliness
- Counsels Housekeepers on discrepancies
- Coach, counsel, and provide corrective action to housekeeping associates on performance not meeting expectations and discrepancies found in rooms
- Notifies GM and/or Chief Engineer of maintenance repairs necessary
- Interviews, hires, coaches and disciplines direct reports
- Perform property walk and report identified deficiencies
- Participates in scheduling employees to business demands and tracking employee time and attendance
- Supervises staffing levels to ensure that guest service, operational needs, and financial objectives are met
- Manages Housekeeping inventory, ensuring that team has dedicated tools, supplies, and resources to complete assigned tasks and work
- Participates in QA audits
