Delaware North Gaming is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Executive Housekeeper to join their team at The Sheraton in Nashua, New Hampshire. Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Minimum three years of supervisory experience in housekeeping within a hotel or resort setting
  • Working knowledge of cleaning utensils, dryers, washers, tools, fixtures, and cleaning solvents
  • Knowledge of Material Safety Data Sheets for cleaning solvents
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, climb stairs, bend, stoop, reach, kneel, and perform scrubbing and washing duties
  • No degree required
  • Availability to work days, holidays, evenings as needed, and every weekend

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum three years of supervisory experience in housekeeping within a hotel or resort setting
  • Working knowledge of various cleaning utensils, dryers, washers, tools, fixtures, and cleaning solvents
  • Knowledge of how to use Material Safety Data Sheets for cleaning solvents
  • Ability to conduct inspections and manage housekeeping operations efficiently
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Good communication and organizational skills

Job Duties

  • Lead and manage a team of housekeepers, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management and evaluation
  • Maintain an inventory of supplies
  • order and distribute supplies and equipment
  • Ensure that all reports, orders, and projects are completed
  • Monitor and control expenses and payroll, while ensuring proper resources are in place
  • Conduct housekeeping inspections and take corrective action as needed
