Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or GED
  • 1 year experience in housekeeping or related area
  • or 2-year degree in hotel and restaurant management, hospitality, business administration, or related major
  • strong leadership and organizational skills
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to perform physical inspections and manage staffing
  • commitment to customer service excellence

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or GED with 1 year of housekeeping or related experience
  • or 2-year degree in hotel and restaurant management, hospitality, business administration, or related field without work experience
  • ability to manage and motivate a team
  • strong communication skills
  • knowledge of housekeeping standards and safety regulations
  • experience with scheduling and inventory management

Job Duties

  • support the daily shift operations of housekeeping, recreation/health club, and laundry if applicable
  • ensure guest room status is communicated to the front desk promptly
  • conduct daily inspections of guestrooms and public areas
  • inventory and maintain adequate housekeeping supplies
  • supervise daily housekeeping shift operations and enforce policies
  • schedule staff according to business demands and track attendance
  • provide feedback and recognize team members
  • respond promptly to guest complaints and work toward improving service performance
