Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1 year experience in housekeeping or related professional area
  • OR 2-year degree from accredited university in hotel and restaurant management, hospitality, business administration or related major
  • No work experience required if degree completed
  • Ability to lead a team and conduct inspections
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to handle guest complaints professionally
  • Willingness to work full time in a management role

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED with 1 year experience in housekeeping or related area
  • OR 2-year degree in hotel and restaurant management, hospitality, business administration or related field
  • Ability to conduct inspections and manage a team
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Experience in guest service and satisfaction improvement
  • Knowledge of housekeeping policies and procedures
  • Capable of managing budgets and operational goals

Job Duties

  • Supports the daily operations of housekeeping, recreation/health club and laundry
  • Ensures guest room status is communicated promptly to the front desk
  • Conducts daily inspections of guestrooms and public spaces
  • Inventories and maintains adequate stock of supplies and equipment
  • Supervises staff, schedules employees according to demand and tracks attendance
  • Provides feedback and coaching to employees on service behavior
  • Responds to guest complaints and implements corrective action plans
