Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in housekeeping or hotel management preferred
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and squat for long periods
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills

Job Duties

  • Hire, train, and manage the housekeeping team and evaluate their performance
  • Inspect guest rooms, meeting rooms, public spaces, and hallways for cleanliness and order
  • Coordinate cleaning and maintenance schedules with front desk and maintenance personnel
  • Train and coach housekeeping staff on cleaning tasks and job schedules
  • Manage labor costs within budget standards and staffing guidelines
  • Follow safety and security guidelines including chemical handling and emergency response
  • Manage supply inventory and storage procedures
  • Develop staff work schedules and coordinate assignments
  • Conduct regular inspections of work areas to ensure productivity and quality
  • Ensure compliance with brand quality performance standards
  • Maintain effective guest relationships
  • Enforce professional dress and grooming standards among staff
