Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 1 year experience in housekeeping or related professional area
- Or 2-year degree from accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major
- No prior work experience required for degree holders
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
- Ability to perform inspections and manage housekeeping operations
- Experience with scheduling and administrative tasks
- Commitment to high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction
- Capability to handle guest complaints and resolve issues effectively

Job Duties
- Ensures guest room status is communicated to the Front Desk in a timely and efficient manner
- Inspects guestrooms daily
- Obtains list of rooms to be cleaned immediately and prepares work assignments
- Inventories stock to ensure adequate supplies
- Supports and supervises inspection programs for guestrooms and public spaces
- Manages department to achieve or exceed budgeted financial goals
- Ensures associates have proper supplies, equipment and uniforms
- Communicates areas needing attention to staff and follows up
- Supervises daily Housekeeping shift operations and ensures compliance with policies and procedures
- Schedules associates according to business demands and tracks attendance
- Provides feedback on service behaviors and recognizes team contributions
- Uses training tools to train new hires and follow-up training
- Maintains open and collaborative relationships with associates
- Administers property policies fairly and completes disciplinary procedures
- Solicits and addresses associate feedback and concerns
- Participates in interviewing and hiring of team members
- Sets a positive example for guest relations
- Develops and implements corrective action plans for guest satisfaction
- Empowers associates to provide excellent customer service
- Responds to and handles guest problems and complaints
- Strives to improve service performance continuously
