Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or GED
  • 1 year experience in housekeeping or related area
  • or 2-year degree from an accredited university in hotel and restaurant management, hospitality, business administration or related major
  • ability to communicate clearly
  • ability to supervise teams
  • basic knowledge of housekeeping operations
  • willingness to work flexible shifts
  • strong organizational skills

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • supports daily shift operations of housekeeping and laundry if applicable
  • ensures guestrooms, public spaces and associate areas are clean and well maintained
  • completes inspections and holds associates accountable for corrective actions
  • ensures guest room status is communicated to the front desk promptly
  • inspects guestrooms daily
  • inventories stock to ensure adequate supplies
  • supervises housekeeping shift operations and enforces policies and procedures
