Job Requirements
- Pass appropriate security clearance according to company policy
- Ability to push or pull 60 pounds and lift or carry 30 pounds
- Ability to stand for eight hours and perform physical tasks such as bending, stretching, reaching, crawling, and kneeling
- Ability to see, hear, speak, and read English
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Maintain professionalism and strong ethical standards
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions
- Comply with health and safety guidelines
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in housekeeping or hospitality management preferred
- Ability to supervise and motivate staff effectively
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and supplies
- Basic computer skills including report generation and payroll input
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to follow procedures and safety standards
- Demonstrated honesty and trustworthiness
- Ability to multi-task and work efficiently under pressure
- Familiarity with hospitality industry standards and brand procedures
Job Duties
- Assist in coordinating the activities of the Housekeeping Team through daily and monthly meetings
- Inspect all areas of the hotel including rooms, public spaces, back of the house, and grounds to ensure sanitation and compliance with brand standards
- Maintain necessary supplies and guest loaned items for the housekeeping and laundry departments
- Assist with monthly inventories, ordering, receiving, and processing invoices with oversight
- Ensure all housekeeping equipment is in proper working order
- Maintain key control and security for guests and associates
- Present training resources and conduct ongoing training for staff
- Assist with scheduling and ensuring labor costs stay within budget
- Respect and maintain guest privacy
- Coordinate with Maintenance Department to handle maintenance requests promptly
- Maintain professional appearance and adhere to grooming and uniform standards
- Perform other duties assigned within capabilities
