Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- prior hotel housekeeping and supervisory experience required
- ability to lift and push up to 60 pounds and carry 30 pounds
- ability to stand for extended periods, bend, stretch, crawl, and kneel
- must pass security clearance according to company policy
- ability to speak and read English
- availability to work weekends and holidays
- professionalism and strong work ethic
- ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions
- basic computer knowledge
Job Qualifications
- prior hotel housekeeping and supervisor experience
- ability to train, hire, schedule and oversee housekeeping staff
- strong organizational skills to maintain logs, checklists, and inventories
- basic computer skills including use of Quore and Hotel Effectiveness
- knowledge of sanitation standards and safety procedures
- ability to communicate effectively with guests and co-workers
- professionalism, honesty, and trustworthiness
- ability to multitask and manage time efficiently
- ability to work weekends and some holidays
Job Duties
- assist in coordinating the activities of the housekeeping team through daily and monthly meetings
- inspect all areas of the hotel including guest rooms, public spaces, and back of the house to ensure sanitation and brand standards
- maintain necessary housekeeping and laundry supplies including guest loaned items
- assist with monthly inventories, ordering, receiving, and processing invoices for payment
- ensure all housekeeping equipment is in proper working order
- maintain key control for guests and associates securing keys at all times
- provide training including new hire orientation, ongoing training, and brand/vendor training for staff
- assist with scheduling and labor management within designated labor model
- uphold guest privacy
- coordinate with maintenance department for timely maintenance requests
- maintain professional appearance adhering to grooming and uniform standards
- perform other duties as assigned within capability
