Job Requirements
- Must be able to pass security clearance per company policy
- Ability to stand for eight hours and perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, stretching, kneeling
- Ability to push or pull up to 60 pounds and lift/carry up to 30 pounds
- Must be able to speak and read English
- Availability to work weekends and some holidays
- Ability to comply with grooming and uniform standards
- Flexibility to work a 24/7 operation when necessary
- Ability to use computer systems like Quore and Hotel Effectiveness
- Maintain professionalism and confidentiality
- Willingness to assist with scheduling, payroll, and staff management tasks
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in hotel housekeeping and supervisory role
- Knowledge of housekeeping materials, supplies, and equipment
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Ability to conduct inspections and enforce cleanliness standards
- Basic computer skills including use of reporting and inventory software
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to train, coach, and motivate staff
- Familiarity with safety and security protocols
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Professionalism, honesty, and trustworthiness
Job Duties
- Assist in coordinating the activities of the housekeeping team
- Inspect all areas of the hotel to ensure sanitation, brand standards, and health and safety requirements are met
- Maintain necessary supplies for housekeeping and laundry departments
- Assist with monthly inventories, ordering, receiving, and processing invoices
- Ensure all housekeeping equipment is in proper working order
- Manage key control for guests and associates maintaining security
- Present training resources and conduct ongoing staff education
- Assist with scheduling and operate within designated labor models
- Ensure guest privacy is maintained at all times
- Coordinate with maintenance department to address and resolve maintenance requests
- Maintain a professional appearance adhering to grooming and uniform standards
- Perform other duties as assigned
