Job Duties
- Perform a variety of general cleaning duties including dusting, scrubbing, wiping, mopping wet and dry floors, and vacuuming
- Clean diverse areas such as resident rooms, dining areas, kitchens, living rooms, hallways, stairwells, elevators, bathrooms, recreation areas, nursing stations, medication rooms, utility rooms, break rooms, and offices
- Perform carpet care and resilient floor cleaning according to procedures
- Mix, label, monitor, and properly utilize approved cleaning products
- Conduct specialized clean-up including blood spill and hazardous material clean-up using proper equipment
- Follow infection control procedures including hand washing, waste storage and disposal, and use of protective clothing
- Adhere to all safety procedures and protocols, reporting hazardous conditions, defective equipment, and accidents immediately
