Job Requirements
- Must be available to work weekends
- ability to lift at least 25 pounds with occasional lifting up to 75 pounds
- ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, pull, fold and kneel frequently
- ability to climb stairs and ladders
- physical ability to perform cleaning duties
- strong communication skills
- ability to follow safety protocols and use personal protective equipment
- must be able to perceive spoken instructions accurately
- close visual acuity for cleanliness assessment
- willingness to attend staff meetings
- compliance with blood borne pathogens and hazardous materials training
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- experience in high-end health or country club environment preferred
- experience in hotel housekeeping or commercial laundry preferred
- bilingual ability a plus
- strong customer and guest service skills
- ability to work independently and as a team player
- motivated self-starter
- attention to detail
Job Duties
- Attract and retain members by consistently providing excellent customer service
- maintain cleanliness of the facility in all areas of club
- ensure towels and robes are laundered
- ensure towels are stocked in locker and fitness areas
- ensure all amenities are stocked in locker rooms and spa locker areas if applicable
- clean all courts, inside and out if applicable
- clean tennis patio, sidewalks, parking lots if applicable
- mop, wash, wax and polish floors and vacuum carpets
- pick up litter and remove garbage from all areas of the club regularly
- operate cleaning equipment and tools
- perform other duties as assigned which may include the use of personal protection equipment (PPE)
- attend all staff meetings as required
