Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-2 years hotel housekeeping experience preferred
  • ability to work weekends, holidays, and flexible hours
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to perform physical cleaning tasks

Job Duties

  • Maintain cleanliness of lobby areas including cleaning glass doors and vacuuming
  • Clean and replenish public restrooms including sinks, toilets, and floors
  • Maintain pool area by replenishing supplies, cleaning surfaces, checking spa water and chemical levels
  • Clean exercise room including mirrors, equipment, floors, and empty trash
  • Water hotel exterior plants when applicable
  • Clean guest laundry facilities and assist with excessive laundry
  • Perform general cleaning of offices, front office areas, break rooms, and associate bathrooms
  • Communicate changes in suite status to front desk
  • Assist chief engineer with guest maintenance complaints
  • Deliver cribs, roll-away beds, and related items to suites and record on logs
  • Know and follow hotel emergency procedures
  • Accommodate guest special requests courteously
  • Answer guest inquiries about hotel services and local area
  • Ensure swimming pool and spa maintenance complies with manufacturer and health regulations
