Job Requirements

  • Minimum of two years hotel experience as a room attendant
  • Previous supervisory duties preferred
  • Bilingual
  • Knowledge of safe use of housekeeping and laundry chemicals and hotel housekeeping operations
  • Supervision and training skills
  • Ability to prioritize, organize and delegate work assignments
  • Ability to direct performance of team members and follow-up with corrective action where needed
  • Dependable

Job Duties

  • Maintain a friendly, cheerful and courteous demeanor at all times while providing personalized service to hotel guests
  • Communicate effectively with guests and fellow team members
  • Be proficient at all housekeeping systems and processes
  • Direct the housekeeping team and act as a liaison between housekeeping team and General Manager
  • Clean guestrooms to DKN Hotels' standards
  • Follow DKN Hotels' policy for room amenities
  • Turn items left in guestrooms into Lost & Found
  • Maintain complete security of keys checked out and never leave property with a key
  • Report any maintenance items that need immediate attention
  • Provide assistance to other team members and departments to contribute to the best overall performance of the department and hotel
  • Deliver DKN's "Home Away From Home" experience
  • Perform other duties as assigned, requested or deemed necessary by management
