Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in custodial or environmental services preferred
- ability to work variable hours including weekends and holidays
- willingness to comply with safety procedures
- ability to use cleaning chemicals safely
- physical ability to perform cleaning tasks
- strong teamwork abilities

Job Duties
- Assure adherence to a cleaning schedule that addresses all areas of the facility
- assure cleaning products, equipment and procedures are in compliance with all applicable regulations
- comply with all safety instructions and procedures when using chemical substances
- participation in relevant in-service training sessions
- attend and participate in facility meetings including those relating to infection control, safety, quality improvement
- maintain a clean, safe and homelike environment for residents
- support the infection control program of the facility
