Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Able to pass criminal background check
- Able to pass drug testing
- Prior housekeeping or healthcare experience preferred
- Ability to frequently lift or move objects up to 35 pounds unassisted
- Ability to perform standing, walking, bending, and kneeling regularly
Job Qualifications
- Punctuality and consistent attendance
- Meticulous sorting and folding skills
- Ability to work respectfully with diverse populations including those with memory loss or physical impairments
- Knowledge of safe chemical handling and facility safety protocols
- Ability to lift or move objects up to 35 pounds and perform physical activities such as standing and walking
- Prior housekeeping or healthcare experience preferred
Job Duties
- Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute all resident clothing, linens, and towels with care
- Follow proper procedures for handling soiled laundry to prevent cross-contamination
- Assist with general housekeeping tasks to maintain cleanliness and safety of laundry room and common areas
- Ensure all resident clothing is labeled correctly to prevent mix-ups
- Operate and maintain commercial washers, dryers, and laundry equipment safely
