Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- able to work days, nights, and weekends as required
- able to work in a noisy, fast-paced environment
- able to read and write handwritten notes
- able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
- able to stand and move about facility for long periods
- able to reach, bend, stoop, mop, sweep, and wipe frequently
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous maintenance experience at a hotel or restaurant preferred but not required
- ability to operate maintenance equipment safely
- knowledge of cleaning chemicals and proper usage
- strong communication skills
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- disciplined and self-motivated
- friendly and able to maintain a positive attitude under pressure
Job Duties
- Deliver an unparalleled guest experience combining food, drinks, and games
- keep immediate supervisor informed of problems and take corrective action
- safely operate all equipment
- use chemicals properly for safety and cost control
- adhere to safety and sanitation policies
- control costs by avoiding overstocking or waste
- clean and maintain kitchen, dish areas, floors, walls, and drains
- maintain storage areas cleanliness and stocking
- clean and maintain windows, lamps, mirrors, and light fixtures
- maintain wood floors, walls, tiles, and carpets
- maintain restrooms including restocking supplies
- dust wood and fixtures
- polish brass plates, rails, and hardware
- clean ceiling fans, air intakes, and HVAC vents
- maintain mats
- empty trash and clean trash cans
- maintain back dock area
- assist other team members as needed
- maintain favorable working relationships with all team members
- maintain a friendly attitude and smile while working
- communicate effectively with guests and team members
- follow dress guidelines and maintain a neat, clean, and professional appearance
