Job Requirements

  • Currently enrolled as an undergraduate student
  • Passion for hospitality industry
  • Availability from May to August
  • Ability to work AM and PM shifts
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to participate in training sessions and meetings
  • Strong interpersonal skills

Job Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate hospitality program
  • Strong interest in hospitality and hotel management
  • Basic knowledge of housekeeping operations
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team

  • Detail-oriented mindset

Job Duties

  • Train on hotel and departmental orientations
  • Train on Forbes standards
  • Train on housekeeping roles including room attendant, house person, laundry, minibar, public space attendant, turndown, and room inspector
  • Participate in daily pre-shift meetings
  • Attend hotel trainings as applicable
  • Shadow housekeeping management during AM and PM shifts
  • Participate in 9:00 AM management stand-up meetings with assigned manager
  • Handle guest complaints
  • Complete special projects as assigned
  • Learn scheduling for both management and hourly staff
  • Build housekeeping boards
