Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least one year of commercial housekeeping experience
  • Ability to read and write
  • Must be able to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
  • Must pass background check physical examination and drug screening
  • Ability to speak and understand English
  • Must be able to exert physical effort including lifting up to 75 lbs and pushing or pulling carts up to 250 lbs
  • Ability to stand or walk up to 8 hours
  • Must comply with company attendance and performance standards

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least one year of commercial housekeeping experience
  • Supervisory experience preferred
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of carpet care and floor care
  • Experience with cleaning chemicals and supply equipment
  • Experience in hospitality industry preferred
  • Ability to work in a diverse team environment

Job Duties

  • Supervise housekeeping staff providing communication training coaching counseling and performance feedback
  • Inspect cleanliness of guest rooms turndown service public areas and back-of-house ensuring compliance with health sanitation and safety standards
  • Issue work assignments to housekeeping staff managing special requests and workload flow
  • Distribute supplies and manage inventory to control expenses
  • Conduct daily audits to ensure compliance with quality and brand standards
  • Assist in scheduling and purchasing of housekeeping supplies
  • Support room attendants by cleaning and stripping guest rooms
  • Handle guest requests ensuring completion and closure
  • Maintain cleanliness in designated resort areas including vending rooms hallways and trash chute rooms
  • Enforce resort safety standards and maintain professional appearance
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
