Job Requirements

  • Must be available to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
  • must pass background check, physical exam and drug screening
  • ability to speak and understand English
  • able to perform physical tasks including bending, squatting, lifting up to 75 lbs
  • able to push and pull carts weighing up to 250 lbs
  • must have manual dexterity to operate equipment
  • able to stand and walk for up to 8 hours
  • clear vision for navigating resort facilities
  • work tasks performed indoors and outdoors with moderate temperature control
  • ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and work within limited spaces

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • at least one year of commercial housekeeping experience
  • supervisory experience preferred
  • able to read and write effectively
  • good verbal and written communication skills
  • knowledge of carpet and floor care
  • experience with carpet and floor care equipment preferred
  • knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supply equipment
  • hospitality industry experience preferred
  • ability to work well in a diverse team environment

Job Duties

  • Support and uphold company policies and procedures
  • supervise housekeeping staff including training, coaching and performance feedback
  • inspect guest rooms, turndown service, public areas and back of house for cleanliness and safety compliance
  • issue assignments and supervise workflow for smooth housekeeping operations
  • manage supply distribution to control inventory and expenses
  • perform daily audits to ensure quality standards are met
  • assist in scheduling and purchasing housekeeping supplies
  • oversee cleanliness of glass doors, windows, trash chute rooms, and resort common areas
  • support room attendants by cleaning and stripping guest rooms
  • manage open guest requests and ensure completion
  • maintain neat and professional appearance
  • enforce safety standards
  • perform other duties as assigned by management
  • maintain consistent attendance
  • adhere to performance standards and company policies
