Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- At least one year of commercial housekeeping experience
- Must be able to read and write to facilitate communication
- Must be available to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
- Must be able to successfully pass applicable auditions or skill testing background check physical examination and drug screening test
- Ability to speak and understand English
- Must be able to exert well-paced ability to maneuver between functions occurring simultaneously
- Must be able to bend squat and lift up to 75 lbs on a regular basis
- Must be able to push and pull carts and equipment weighing up to 250 lbs on a regular basis
- Must be able to stand and or walk for up to 8 hours
- Must maintain a consistent regular attendance record
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- At least one year of commercial housekeeping experience
- Supervisory experience preferred
- Good communication skills both verbal and written
- Knowledgeable with carpet care and floor care
- Knowledgeable with cleaning chemicals and supply equipment
- Experience in the hospitality industry time share preferred
- Ability to work well in a diverse team environment
Job Duties
- Supervise the housekeeping staff providing open communication training coaching and counseling and providing performance feedback to ensure maximum efficiency
- Supervise and inspect the cleaning of the guest rooms turndown service public areas and back of the house ensuring compliance with accident loss prevention programs SOPs and health sanitation standards and regulations
- Issue assignments to staff reviewing special request and areas of concentration to ensure a smooth flow of the housekeeping operation
- Issue supplies goods to staff at the beginning of shift in order to control inventory and expenses
- Perform daily audits to ensure GPR quality standards are consistently met
- Assist Executive Housekeeper in scheduling and purchasing of guest room and hotel supplies as necessary
- Support Room Attendant by cleaning and stripping guest rooms
