Job Requirements
- High school education preferred
- Minimum six months inspector experience or one year comparable housekeeping experience
- Ability to read and write English
- Ability to provide clear direction and guidance
- Ability to organize and prioritize work
- Ability to exercise judgment
- Capability to communicate with diverse individuals
- Availability to work weekends and holidays
- Physical ability to lift, reach, bend, stoop, stand, walk
- Ability to push two hundred pound carts
- Ability to lift up to fifty pounds
- Must maintain neat, clean and well-groomed appearance
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma
- College degree in hospitality and hotel management preferred
- Minimum six months inspector experience or one year comparable housekeeping experience
- Ability to read and write English to complete reports
- Ability to provide direction and guidance to subordinates
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills
- Ability to exercise judgment and control over performance
Job Duties
- Visually inspect VIP rooms, guest rooms and corridors for cleanliness and appearance
- Prepare work orders for shampooers to clean carpets and supply room attendants to maintain par stock in closet
- Ensure all jobs are completed within the shift
- Report all maintenance deficiencies in guest rooms and corridors via work orders
- Expedite special guest requests, such as extra towels, blankets or pillows
- Open and close Housekeeping Department
- Turn in all lost and found items and all guest room keys
