Job Requirements

  • High school education preferred
  • Minimum six months inspector experience or one year comparable housekeeping experience
  • Ability to read and write English
  • Ability to provide clear direction and guidance
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work
  • Ability to exercise judgment
  • Capability to communicate with diverse individuals
  • Availability to work weekends and holidays
  • Physical ability to lift, reach, bend, stoop, stand, walk
  • Ability to push two hundred pound carts
  • Ability to lift up to fifty pounds
  • Must maintain neat, clean and well-groomed appearance

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma
  • College degree in hospitality and hotel management preferred

  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills

Job Duties

  • Visually inspect VIP rooms, guest rooms and corridors for cleanliness and appearance
  • Prepare work orders for shampooers to clean carpets and supply room attendants to maintain par stock in closet
  • Ensure all jobs are completed within the shift
  • Report all maintenance deficiencies in guest rooms and corridors via work orders
  • Expedite special guest requests, such as extra towels, blankets or pillows
  • Open and close Housekeeping Department
  • Turn in all lost and found items and all guest room keys
