Job Requirements

High school education preferred
Minimum six months inspector experience or one year comparable housekeeping experience
Ability to read and write English
Ability to provide clear direction and guidance
Ability to organize and prioritize work
Ability to exercise judgment
Capability to communicate with diverse individuals
Availability to work weekends and holidays
Physical ability to lift, reach, bend, stoop, stand, walk
Ability to push two hundred pound carts
Ability to lift up to fifty pounds
Must maintain neat, clean and well-groomed appearance

Job Qualifications

High school diploma
College degree in hospitality and hotel management preferred
Minimum six months inspector experience or one year comparable housekeeping experience
Ability to read and write English to complete reports
Ability to provide direction and guidance to subordinates
Strong organizational and prioritization skills
Ability to exercise judgment and control over performance

Job Duties

Visually inspect VIP rooms, guest rooms and corridors for cleanliness and appearance
Prepare work orders for shampooers to clean carpets and supply room attendants to maintain par stock in closet
Ensure all jobs are completed within the shift
Report all maintenance deficiencies in guest rooms and corridors via work orders
Expedite special guest requests, such as extra towels, blankets or pillows
Open and close Housekeeping Department
Turn in all lost and found items and all guest room keys
