Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • prior housekeeping or cleaning experience an asset
  • strong attention to detail
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
  • physical ability to perform strenuous activities including standing, walking, bending, and lifting
  • flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • Clean designated areas including restrooms, public areas, offices and banquet/meeting/conference rooms
  • perform tasks including dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures, vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, shampooing carpets, washing windows, cleaning/waxing floors, removing and disposing of trash and emptying ashtrays
  • greet guests in a friendly manner
  • report maintenance deficiencies and items in need of repair
  • stock and maintain supply rooms, as needed
  • perform deep cleaning tasks and special projects, such as mattress flipping and furniture moves, as needed
  • deliver guest requests and assist in cleaning guest rooms, as needed
