Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Commitment to safety and guest service standards
Job Qualifications
- Able to maintain a 4-Diamond level of service
- Able to assist Guest Room Attendants with job duties
- Able to work with Management on special projects
- Maintain a professional business appearance, attitude, and performance
- Must be able to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Move, bend, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance
- Stand or walk for an extended period or for an entire work shift
- Requires repetitive motion of arms, hands, and legs
Job Duties
- Ensures that assigned service landing closets are stocked at proper linen and supply par levels
- Empties guest room attendant linens on an hourly basis or as needed
- Empties guest room attendant garbage on an hourly basis or as needed
- Communicate with guest room attendants and assist them with stripping guest rooms
- Keeps the service landings clean and organized
- Removes trays from the guest floors
- Keeps corridors on guest room floors clean
- Maintain cleanliness of stairwells
- Dust baseboards and pictures in guest corridors daily
- Ensure all guest room doors are free of scuff marks
- Keeps ice machine room clean
- Keep guest elevator landings clean
- Moves furniture upon request
- Completes guest requests
- Have a sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment
- Ensure hotel guests and associates are maintained in a safe and secure environment
