Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred
  • ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • physical ability to lift and move objects as required
  • availability to work weekends and holidays
  • reliable and punctual
  • customer service oriented
  • ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines

Job Qualifications

  • at least six months of customer service experience
  • hotel experience highly preferred
  • ability to work morning shifts, weekends, and holidays
  • strong attention to detail
  • good communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to work as part of a team

Job Duties

  • clean designated areas including restrooms, public areas, offices, and banquet, meeting, conference rooms
  • perform tasks including dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures, vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, shampooing carpets, washing windows, cleaning and waxing floors, removing and disposing of trash and emptying ashtrays
  • greet guests in a friendly manner
  • report maintenance deficiencies and items in need of repair
  • stock and maintain supply rooms as needed
  • perform deep cleaning tasks and special projects such as mattress flipping and furniture moves, as needed
  • deliver guest requests and assist in cleaning guest rooms as needed
