Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred
  • ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and standing for extended periods

  • basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment

Job Duties

  • Clean designated areas including restrooms, public areas, offices, and banquet/meeting/conference rooms
  • perform dusting, polishing furniture and fixtures, vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, shampooing carpets, washing windows, waxing floors, removing and disposing of trash and emptying ashtrays
  • greet guests in a friendly manner
  • report maintenance deficiencies and items in need of repair
  • stock and maintain supply rooms as needed
  • perform deep cleaning tasks and special projects such as mattress flipping and furniture moves
  • deliver guest requests and assist in cleaning guest rooms as needed
