Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in housekeeping or related field preferred
- ability to communicate clearly and work as part of a team
- capability to handle physical demands of the job including lifting and prolonged standing
- reliable and punctual
- commitment to upholding hotel's standards of service and cleanliness
- flexibility to work varying shifts including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- experience in housekeeping or janitorial services is an asset
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work effectively in a team environment
- attention to detail and commitment to high standards of cleanliness
- physical ability to perform manual tasks including lifting and extended periods of standing
- ability to respond quickly and professionally to guest requests
Job Duties
- Clean designated areas including restrooms, public areas, offices, banquet, meeting, and conference rooms
- perform tasks such as dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures, vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, shampooing carpets, washing windows, cleaning and waxing floors, removing and disposing of trash, emptying ashtrays
- greet guests in a friendly manner
- report maintenance deficiencies and items in need of repair
- stock and maintain supply rooms as needed
- perform deep cleaning tasks and special projects such as mattress flipping and furniture moves
- deliver guest requests and assist in cleaning guest rooms as needed
