Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in housekeeping or related field preferred
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
  • Good communication skills in English
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Ability to follow safety and cleaning protocols
  • Basic knowledge of cleaning equipment and chemicals

Job Qualifications

  • Previous hotel housekeeping experience preferred
  • Ability to communicate in English
  • Schedule flexibility including availability for morning shifts, weekends, and holidays
  • Demonstrated qualities of hospitality, integrity, leadership, teamwork, ownership, and urgency
  • Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Positive customer focus and adaptability

Job Duties

  • Clean designated areas including restrooms, public areas, offices and banquet/meeting/conference rooms
  • Perform tasks including dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures, vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, shampooing carpets, washing windows, cleaning/waxing floors, removing and disposing of trash and emptying ashtrays
  • Greet guests in a friendly manner
  • Report maintenance deficiencies and items in need of repair
  • Stock and maintain supply rooms, as needed
  • Perform deep cleaning tasks and special projects such as mattress flipping, furniture moves, as needed
  • Deliver guest requests and assist in cleaning guest rooms, as needed
