Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in housekeeping or related field highly desirable
- Ability to lift and move heavy items
- Schedule flexibility including availability on weekends and holidays
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures
Job Qualifications
- Previous hotel housekeeping experience preferred
- Ability to greet guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to perform physical tasks related to cleaning and maintenance
- Flexibility to work mornings weekends and holidays
- Good communication skills
- Dependability and strong work ethic
Job Duties
- Clean designated areas including restrooms public areas offices and banquet meeting conference rooms
- Perform tasks including dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures vacuuming mopping sweeping shampooing carpets washing windows cleaning waxing floors removing and disposing of trash and emptying ashtrays
- Greet guests in a friendly manner
- Report maintenance deficiencies and items in need of repair
- Stock and maintain supply rooms as needed
- Perform deep cleaning tasks and special projects such as mattress flipping furniture moves etc as needed
- Deliver guest requests and assist in cleaning guest rooms as needed
