Job Requirements
- Must be able to stand and exert mobility for up to 7 hours
- Must be able to push and pull carts and equipment weighing up to 250 lbs regularly
- Must be able to bend, squat, and lift up to 75 lbs regularly
- Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening, and visual acuity
- Requires manual dexterity to use and operate necessary equipment
- Ability to communicate continuously with guests, supervisors, and employees
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in housekeeping preferred
- Previous hotel experience preferred
Job Duties
- Removing trash from work areas to the loading dock/dumpster and removing trash and linen from cleaning carts and housekeeping closets
- Reporting any linen shortages or discrepancies to managers or supervisors
- Maintaining storage and distribution areas to keep them clean and organized
- Distributing linen and supplies according to established par levels in designated hotel areas
- Delivering goods and supplies to guest rooms and guest floors
- Making up and delivering roll-away beds and baby cribs
- Maintaining cleanliness of guest corridors, including sweeping, washing floors, vacuuming carpets, washing walls, dusting furniture and fixtures, and cleaning elevators and tracks
