Job Requirements
- Ability to work on your feet for eight hours or more
- Must be able to lift, push, reach for, and carry 50 plus pounds frequently
- Ability and willingness to work flexible hours including weekends, holidays, and late nights
- A passion for perfection and attention to detail
- Ability to focus attention on guest needs while maintaining professionalism
- Excellent verbal communication skills and multitasking ability
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent experience or training
- 6 months to 1 year or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Housekeeping or hospitality experience preferred
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask effectively
- Ability to remain calm and courteous under pressure
Job Duties
- Work under direction of Housekeeping Manager or Housekeeping Supervisor
- Communicate daily with leadership regarding job assignments and required timeframe
- Maintain positive and professional approach with team members and guests
- Follow all safety and health regulations including personal protective equipment protocol policies
- Thoroughly strip rooms after guest checkouts removing bedding, towels, and trash
- Maintain constant awareness of safety hazards such as broken glass, frayed cords, leaks, broken locks, and suspicious persons and report to Floor Supervisor or Housekeeping Office
- Change soiled linens on beds following property and Green Program standards
- Keep corridors and service areas clean, neat, and free of waste or clutter
- Notice and report any loss or damage to linen, furniture, fixtures, or equipment
- Resolve guest issues professionally and timely
- Learn and know the names of chemicals used
- Carry out deep cleaning tasks and special projects
- Perform other duties as assigned consistent with the functions of the position
