Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of light maintenance and housekeeping experience preferred
- basic maintenance knowledge in plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and painting
- ability to safely operate hand and power tools
- ability to read, write, and communicate in English proficiently
- ability to follow written procedures and adapt to daily work changes
- ability to respond in a friendly and helpful manner to guests and coworkers
- physical ability to perform maintenance and housekeeping tasks
- availability for on-call emergency response
- willingness to cross-train and perform multiple duties
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- 1-2 years of light maintenance and housekeeping experience preferred
- basic knowledge in plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and painting maintenance
- ability to operate light equipment like pressure washers, vacuum cleaners, and carpet cleaners
- proficiency in English reading, writing, and speaking
- ability to follow written procedures and adapt to changes
- problem-solving skills
- service-oriented attitude
Job Duties
- Perform light and preventive maintenance including light plumbing tasks such as plunging toilets and unclogging sinks
- perform light electrical tasks such as changing outlets, switches, and light bulbs
- conduct studio preventive maintenance including painting, caulking, and pest identification
- perform general upkeep including shampooing carpets, janitorial tasks, and parking lot maintenance
- complete guest room preparation and inspection after move-out to brand standards
- clean and stage guest rooms and public areas
- remove trash and treat soiled linens before removal
- assist with laundry duties including sorting, washing, drying, and folding linens
- cross-train and perform duties of Move-Out Attendant and Stay-Over Attendant
- respond promptly to emergencies while on call
