Job Requirements
- Extensive standing walking lifting and bending
- able to push stand stoop bend and lift items weighing up to 150 pounds repetitively during entire shift
- able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
- able to push pull and carry 150 lbs
- on feet over two-thirds of the time
- using hands to handle feel or point over two-thirds of the time
- able to stoop kneel crouch and crawl one-third of the time
- strong listening and communication skills two-thirds of the time

Job Duties
- Report to work as scheduled in proper uniform and adhere to personal appearance standards
- maintain a friendly positive attitude to ensure positive guest experience and recognize returning guests
- follow and adhere to Housekeeping Department policies and procedures
- communicate properly over the radio
- respond, follow, and close HotSOS and other requests using Rexx radio
- assist room attendants by emptying trash and soiled linen from housekeeping carts
- maintain public rest rooms, hotel lobby levels, ashtrays, elevators and tracks, ice machine areas, stairwells, building entrance, and hallways
- handle guests with excellent guest relations skills
- clean back-of-the-house windows as needed
- vacuum guest hallways daily
- use proper chemicals when cleaning
- attend all departmental meetings as scheduled
- perform all duties timely and efficiently
- maintain linen closets clean, stocked, and organized
- bring trash to the compactor at the end of the day
- wash guest room glassware and deliver to linen closets
- bring dirty glassware to housekeeping at shift end
- perform duties as directed by management consistent with company policies
- promptly notify supervisors of significant problems or unusual matters
- be polite, friendly, and helpful to guests, management, and team members
- attend hotel meetings and training sessions
- maintain cleanliness and good condition of equipment and work area
- execute emergency procedures per hotel standards
- comply with safety regulations and hotel policies
- recycle whenever possible
- stay current with hotel information and changes
