Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in hotel or related field preferred
- Valid driver's license for applicable state if required
- Flexible availability including long hours
- Ability to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally
- Ability to stand during entire shift

Job Duties
- Be attentive, friendly, helpful and courteous to all guests, managers and fellow employees
- Walk assigned floors at beginning and end of shift to remove newspapers, trays, empty ash urns, trash and/or linens and note areas needing immediate cleaning
- Use proper two-way radio etiquette when communicating with other employees
- Complete assigned cleaning projects from daily checklist including elevator lobbies, ash urns, glass tables, furniture, ice machines, elevator doors and frames, service landings, linen closets, stairwells, polish floors and other tasks as assigned
- Practice safe work habits to ensure safety of guests, employees and self
- Handle lost and found items according to hotel standards
- Turn in all keys and assignment sheets to the housekeeping office at shift end
- Report maintenance issues to housekeeping supervisor or manager
- Assist with guestroom cleaning if needed
- Pick up dirty linen or trash from room attendants as needed
- Collect trash from service landings and dispose properly
- Vacuum guest corridors
- Assist housekeeping with bedboards, roll-aways and other tasks
- Deliver clean linen to assigned sections
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of housekeeping office, linen rooms, storage closets and stairwells
- Ensure overall guest satisfaction
